Is there an option for custom bags?
Yes, we can create custom bags or even custom designs for you. With any custom items there is a minimum of 200 units that must be purchased and there are setup fees to have your logo sewn to the outside of the bag. Request a quote to get the exact costs.
What is Faraday Protection?
Faraday technology is any technology designed to block wireless signals from an item. They are used in digital forensics to be able to protect wireless devices that are considered to be evidence from receiving signals that might change the data on the device or even destroy all the data.
What devices can you block signal on?
Any device that can receive a signal can technically be blocked. The StrongHold designs are typically able to block signals in almost any situation. However, there are times and circumstances that they are less effective. The items that can cause ALL signal blocking to fail are:
Direct connection to a cell tower. If your building has a cell tower on top of it the signal blocking will typically not be successful.
Poor shielding closure. Make sure all of the seals are closed on the Faraday device to ensure the best protection.
Power going to the device from outside the Faraday device. Anytime you take power to a shielded device you cause it to have an antenna. This will cause the protection to fail.
Damaged device protection. If your device you are using for shielding has holes in the seams or anywhere on the device it will not be able to block the signal.
You also must be able to fit the device 100% in the StrongHold Faraday protection for it to be blocked, and not be too close to a tower or origination of the signal. Our double layers allow the blockage to be 97% accurate.
Will it change the data on my device?
The data on the device is not affected by being blocked. On the contrary, it is protected from having other devices destroy data by keeping it in a cone of silence.
