Smartphone
Knowledge

Paraben Corporation has been pioneering innovations in smartphone forensics since 2001, giving us an in-depth understanding of their inner workings. Our understanding extends to the firmware level of both Apple iOS and Android OS, particularly regarding App access controls and functionality. Understanding how Apps work is crucial for identifying potential vulnerabilities susceptible to attacks and data breaches. Our unique forensic-level comprehension of smartphones equips us with specialized expertise to offer invaluable insights for penetration testing.

Data
Workflow

Data within App functions is dispersed throughout the device. Understanding and identifying where access controls may leave your App vulnerable is one of our areas of expertise. We assess your data risks and provide recommendations for remediation, ensuring that your organization has a secure and effective App.

Pen Testing
Process

Our team conducts a call with your organization to gather details about your App and understand your objectives for the App penetration test. We draft a Statement of Work that outlines the project timeline and checkpoints for goal assessment. We establish and monitor hourly rates through weekly progress reports that detail the time used and issues uncovered. We provide a preliminary report at the end of the testing stage that presents identified vulnerabilities and suggested solutions. Following this report, the project may pause to implement fixes before the final review. We then assess and evaluate an updated App submission with implemented fixes for inclusion in the final report.
