Each course is designed around lectures, labs, and testing to receive the certification that is included with the course. Some certifications are available without taking the course if other course equivalency can be provided. Students who are looking to enter digital forensics have a special Student option available with Paraben.

E3 Fundamental Fast Track
The E3 Fundamental Fast Track course will give attendees everything they need to be proficient in forensic examinations using E3 through a variety of different common evidence types. Students attending the E3 Fundamental Fast Track should already be trained in the basics of computer forensics. This course will focus on utilizing E3

Course Details
This 8-hour course is designed to cover computer forensics and email analysis using Paraben’s Electronic Evidence Examiner-E3. Students taking this course are recommended to have completed the introductory E3 video course that came with their purchase of Paraben’s tools.
Once the course is completed the students will be able to:
- Perform a comprehensive forensic analysis using E3
- Perform a data triage collection and analysis using DP2C and E3
- Analyze, filter, export, and report on local email as well as network email stores
- Perform forensic acquisitions using DP2C
- Create forensic containers for case data minimization, storage, & sharing
- Analyze memory dumps

Mobile Fundamentals
Paraben’s Mobile Forensics Basic course is designed to get you started in mobile forensics. The fundamental how-to knowledge that acts as a foundation for what you need as you pursue this area of digital forensics.

Mobile Fast Track
ALL OF SMARTPHONE FORENSICS
Paraben’s Mobile Fast Track Course has been created with a specific focus on what you need to be successful when dealing with smartphones in your investigation. This course goes through acquisition and analysis techniques. Learn more than just how to use a tool to learn all the analysis for all types of smartphones. Review of both Android and iOS devices and how these devices work as well as structured. Acquisition and analysis of these popular devices is the focus of the Mobile Fast Track course. This course will be taught with a combination of recorded lectures and Labs.
Domestic students will receive special acquisition packs with devices sent to each student. If you select this course on specific dates the course instructor will be available to chat and work with you online as needed during the 8 AM to 5 PM course allotment. This course is filled with 3-Days of 8 hours of content so be prepared to step into the world of smartphone forensics.
Course Objectives
- Acquire a variety of smartphone devices from legacy to current to include:
- Learn how to process devices using chip bypass methods
- Walkthrough mobile device file systems and identify data
- Complete comprehensive data analysis on data associated with the above devices as well as a large variety of other devices
- Practice proper analysis techniques for data associated with popular apps
- This course includes a written examination that will determine certification as well as the ability to complete in-class labs. All certification examinations must be passed at 80%

Course Details & Dates
Join us for this 3-day training course online. The Mobile Fast Track course goes into acquisitions, analysis, and the details in-between that can provide you key evidence in your forensic investigation.
- All course times are 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time unless otherwise noted.
- Students will need to have their own machine connected to the internet during class.
- The E3 Forensic Platform must be installed and licensed.
- Licenses are offered to students at no additional cost to be used during their course.
- The course instructor is available for questions during class time on designated course dates
U.S. Domestic Classes
All acquisition devices, materials, software, labs, etc. are provided prior to class and shipped to each student. Return shipping labels are provided to return acquisition devices after class is completed.
Devices that are not returned will be charged to the student. Each student receives $1,000 U.S. in acquisition devices that are required to be shipped back.
International Students
All materials will be provided via links to download to the local machine. No acquisition devices will be shipped due to restrictions on equipment shipments. All labs will be focused on Analysis only. Acquisition lab time can be set up with one-on-one time with an instructor virtually.
