Paraben Corporation, a pioneer in digital forensics solutions, today announced the release of version 4.4 of its flagship E3 Forensic Platform. The new update introduces a strategic integration with Passware, the leading provider of password recovery solutions, and expansions with email functionality with Relativity as well as new cloud capabilities.

The key highlight of this release is the seamless integration with Passware Recovery Kits. This new feature enhances E3’s ability to bypass smartphone passwords, allowing investigators to leverage Passware’s renowned expertise to gain access to locked devices. This partnership combines Passware’s powerful password cracking technology with E3’s robust analytics platform, enabling investigators to focus on the in-depth analysis of valuable data once a device is unlocked. The integration also provides E3 users with the convenience of purchasing Passware Recovery Kits directly through Paraben.

The 4.4 release also has new export functionality for its powerful email engines to the popular eDiscovery platform Relativity. “We have always valued our email clients as they are some of our longest standing functionalities at Paraben and adding more options for Relativity just make the tool a better choice for email investigations and eDiscovery.” Commented Amber Schroader, Paraben’s CEO.

New cloud functionality rounds out the E3 version 4.4 release with support for synchronized data from the Calendar in iCloud. This approach for synchronized data has allowed the capture of more current suspect information than other tools techniques. The calendar capture allows information from calendars, birthday calendar, events, invitees, calendar participants, alarms, and account info.

Paraben Corporation continues its commitment to providing cutting-edge, forensically sound solutions to the digital investigation’s community. The E3 Forensic Platform is currently available for licensing through the Paraben Digital Investigator Membership program or through custom licensing options by contacting sales@paraben.com.
